| According to the 2000 census
bureau the population of Clackamas was 5,177 with 85.3%
White, 1.1% Black, .7% American Indian and Alaska
Native, 6.3% Asian, .3% Native Hawaiian, and 2.7% some
other race. There were 2000 housing units, 1,197 were
owner occupied and 803 were renter-occupied housing
units. For the 3,328 population 25 years of age or
older, 217 people had less that a 9th grade education,
920 were high school graduate or equivalency, 1,024 had
some college but no degree, 210 had an Associate degree,
508 had a Bachelor's degree, and 170 had a Graduate or
professional degree. There were 2,018 households
reported in 1999, in which 6.6% made less than $10,000,
5.1% made between $10,000 and $14,999, 13.3% made
between $15,000 and $24,999, 10.2% made between $25,000
and $34,999, 21.1% made between $35,000 and $49,999,
21.3% made between $50,000 and $74,999, 8.9% made
between $75,000 and $99,999, 10.7% made between $100,000
and $149,999, 1.6% made between $150,000 and $199,999,
and 1.2% made $200,000 or more. |
