City History
|
| Happy Valley was
initially called Christilla Valley after Christian and
Matilda Deardorff the first residents that arrived in
1851. The city was incorporated in 1965 and was a small
community until the late 1990's when it became one the
fastest growing cities in Oregon. Because of this
enormous growth Happy Valley was issued its own zip code
by the United States Postal Service in 2006. |
