Portland, Oregon's Comedy Scene

 

Harvey's Comedy Club & Restaurant;  436 Northwest 6th Avenue, Portland, OR 97209-3613 (503) 241-0338. This is Portland’s most well known comedy club. Harvey’s pull the largest stand up comedians around. Reasonable and fun with a very friendly atmosphere.

Comedy Sportz;  Family-friendly improv with shows on Friday and Saturday. They also teach improv classes as well as provide corporate workshops for team-building. Most shows are $12 in advance. Eddie May Mystery Theater;  Call the box office at 503-524-4366 to details and tickets information. Cocktails, dinner and MURDER. This is an interactive murder mystery show with dinner and drinks that will keep you very entertained.

Spike and Mike Film Festivals;  headquartered in California but will sometimes travel to Portland, Oregon. When they arrive the festival usually plays at Cinema 21. Check their website for travel details.

Curious Comedy Theater; 5225 NE Martin Luther King Blvd Portland, OR 97211 (503) 477-9477. Take the bus by taking TriMet to the door on either the #6 MLK Route or the #72 Killingsworth Route. As always, be sure TriMet service is running. Join their mailing list by sending them an e-mail to info@curiouscomedy.org. Curious Productions is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation and the first non-profit theater in Portland devoted entirely to the art of comedy.
