Indoor Volleyball  Facilities:

Beaverton The Courts, 14523 SW Millikan Way #110, Beaverton, Oregon.  (503) 646-7905 Directions: Drive West on US-26 toward Beaverton. Take the Murray Blvd Exit (Exit 67). Turn Left onto NW Murray Rd., it will turn into SW Murray Blvd. Turn Left onto SW Millikan. The building is on the left so at the first driveway on Millikan turn left. There is no sign posted saying this is the gym.  They do have drop in Volleyball Play on Friday nights year round.   Play starts at 7pm and finishes at 9:30pm. Many times they have all 6 courts filled.  It's $4.00 per person.  They allow 7 players per team or 14 players per court.  It is coed drop In play, so they will not allow organized teams to play together.  Bring your own volleyball for warm up.

Brentwood Park, SE 60th & SE Duke, Portland, Oregon. Directions: From Powell, go South on 52nd. Turn left at Duke, and go to the stop sign by the Dairy Queen (60th Ave.) Go right, park is on your left.

Central Catholic - 2401 SE Stark, Portland, Oregon -Old Gym. Directions: Take SE Stark to 24th. Turn north on 24th, and the gym is at the north end of the school, on the right.

Central Catholic High School, 2401 SE Stark, Portland, Oregon -New Gym. Directions: Take SE Stark to 24th. Turn north on 24th, and the gym is at the north end of the school, on the right.

Delta Park, N Denver Ave & Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., Portland, Oregon.  These sand courts are located in the softball/soccer complex.

East Portland Community Center, SE 106th and SE Stark, Portland, Oregon.  Directions: Take I-205 to the Washington-Stark Exit. Turn east on Washington, get into the right-hand lane, and go to 106th. Turn right, and the community center is two blocks ahead, on the left.

Griffin Oaks Park, 1880 NE Griffin Oaks St.  Hillsboro, OR 97124.  Outdoor grass park in Hillsboro. All VTC grass tournaments and open play takes place here.

Lents Park, SE 92nd / Holgate, Portland, Oregon.  Directions: From Powell, go South on 82nd. Turn left on Holgate. Park is on your right, at the corner of 92nd and Holgate.

Milwaukie High School Aux Gym, 11300 SE 23rd Ave., Portland, Oregon.  Directions: From I205 take the OR-224 exit toward Milwaukie. Turn LEFT onto SE 82md Dr/OR-224 continue on to follow OR-224. Turn LEFT onto SE Oak St. Turn RIGHT onto SE Washington ST. Turn LEFT onto SE 23rd Ave.  Same as MHS Main gym just the little gym.

Milwaukie High School Main Gym, 11300 SE 23rd Ave., Portland, Oregon.  Directions: From I205 take the OR-224 exit toward Milwaukie. Turn LEFT onto SE 82md Dr/OR-224 continue on to follow OR-224. Turn LEFT onto SE Oak St. Turn RIGHT onto SE Washington ST. Turn LEFT onto SE 23rd Ave.

Montavilla Community Center, 8219 NE Glisan St., Portland, Oregon.  Directions: From I-84 east take the 82nd Ave exit. Turn left at the light at 82nd, and go south. The community center is on the corner of 82nd and Glisan, and the parking lot entrance is on 82nd, north of Glisan St..

Parkrose High School, 12003 NE Shaver, Portland, Oregon.  Directions: From downtown, take I-84 east to the 122nd Ave exit. Turn right at the stoplight, go north to the light at Shaver, and turn left. The school is ahead on the right.  From Gresham, take I-84 west to the 181st exit. Turn right, and take 181st/Airport Way to 122nd. Turn left, and go to Shaver. Turn right, and the school is ahead on the right.  From Vancouver, take I-205 south to the Airport Way exit. Take Airport Way east to 122nd. Turn right and go to Shaver. Turn right, and the school is ahead on the right.

Portland Parks and Recreation (PP&R) Community Centers and SUN Community Schools offer adult drop-in volleyball for a fee from $2-$5.  Co-ed must be 16 years or older.  Check the PP&R activity catalog of your nearest facility for the drop-In schedule.

Pearl Court Activity Center, 1425 NW 16th Avenue Portland, OR 97209 (503) 939-8226.  The Pearl Court Activity Center is a multi-dimensional and  use space located in Portland’s Pearl District.   This facility offers great volleyball open court sessions.

PCC Sylvania, 12000 SW 49th Ave Portland, Oregon 97219.  Directions: From I-5 SB, exit at Capitol Hwy Exit Make two circular right hand-turns until headed SOUTH on Capitol Hwy. Capitol Hwy turns into SW 49th Avenue..continue southbd.  At PCC Sylvania Sign (about 3/4 - 1 mile from Barbur) turn right into campus. At first tee, turn right. At stop sign (about 1 short block) turn left. Go to the end of this street (thru 1 stop sign). At this tee, turn left. This little street dead ends into Parking Lot 12. We can only park in this lot if you park in other lots you will need to pay. The gym building is adjacent, south. Gym is on second floor.

St. Johns Community Center, 8427 N Central, Portland, Oregon. From I-5 north take the Lombard West exit. Follow Lombard to Leavitt (this is several miles from I-5). Turn right on Leavitt. Go 2 blocks. The street dead-ends at the front door of the Community Center.  From I-405 (Fremont Bridge), follow US Hwy 30 (St. Helens Hwy) 4+ miles to the St. Johns Bridge Exit (a left-turn exit). Turn left, go up the hill and over the bridge. Stay in the right lane, go straight ahead, through the first stoplight, to the second stoplight (Lombard). Turn right, go one block to Leavitt and turn left, and the community center is two blocks straight ahead.

The Hoop, 9685 SW Harvest Court, Beaverton, Oregon

University Park Community Center, 9009 N Foss Ave., Portland, Oregon.  Directions: Take I-5 North to exit #305B/Lombard ST. West. Turn Right on N Chautaugua BLVD. Turn Left on N Willis BLVD. Turn Right on N Foss Ave. 503-823-3631. 

YWCA, 1111 SW 10th Ave., Portland, Oregon.  Directions: If you are scheduled for a 9pm game at this gym please arrive early. The front doors are locked promptly at 9pm and you will not be able to get in unless you bang on the gym doors.  From I-5 N take the I-405 N exit number 299B. Take the 12th Ave. exit 1D off of I-405 N. Turn slight right on SW 12th Ave. Turn Right onto SW Market ST/US-26 E. Turn Left onto SW 10th Ave.  From I-84 take the I-5 S exit on the left toward Salem. Take the exit toward City Center/Morrison St. Turn slight Right onto Morrison Bridge. Turn slight Left onto SW Washington ST. Turn Left onto SW Broadway. Turn Right onto SW Jefferson ST. Turn Right onto SW 10th Ave.

West Side Volleyball:

Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation: 
Adult Coed Spring Volleyball,  2010 Coed Spring Volleyball League
Get fit by playing Spring volleyball and then you'll be ready for your summer activities.   Team rosters are due the first part of March with games beginning the first of April. League information will be available the first part of February. THPRD also offers Adult Coed Sand Volleyball.  League play begins in June with team rosters due the first part of May. Organizational information is available in April.  Coed and Women's Fall Volleyball.  This league is scheduled around vacations and kids being back in school.   League play is September through November. Organizational information is available in July.  Adult Coed Winter Volleyball League.  League play runs January through March and the information for this league will be available in November with team rosters due the first part of December.   For individuals looking to join a team or those who have questions about registering you'll need to contact THPRD at (503) 629-6330 and or e-mail to adultvolleyball@thprd.com

Volleyball  Leagues


PMCVA;  12284 SE Imperial Crest St., Happy Valley, OR 97086.  PMCVA is an all adult co-ed volleyball league for East Portland. They have two seasons. Spring (March-May) and Fall (September-November).  The season is 8 weeks long including a season ending championship tournament.  They play on Monday Nights from 7 pm - 10 pm.  The tournament is on a Saturday.  The team fee is $350.00.  Anyone can register a team by filling out an application and mailing it in along with a $50 deposit.   There are two divisions A and B for newcomers and more seasoned players.  For more information or to fill out an application call Dave DeGraff (503) 492-6694 or Melissa Severson (503) 698-2296 or click on their website to fill out an application.


Underdog Sports Leagues - 1825 NE Broadway, Suite D Portland, OR 97232  (503) 282-1155. Winter Indoor Leagues. Midcore and Softcore Leagues begin signups on 11/18.  All fall leagues are co-ed 6's with a Minimum of 3 women on the court and a maximum of 3 guys. Teams will play a 6-week season followed by playoffs for qualifying teams. Matches will follow standard formatting of 3 games to 25 points, running score.  League fees include court time, USL staff member on site to answer questions, team website, great sponsor bar deals and fun USL parties.  Softcore - This division is for those players who have either not played in a while, are new to the sport, or just want to brush up.  Midcore - Everyone is welcome in this division but if you played before and want to test your skills this is the place for you.  All divisions are still considered recreation level and are meant to provide more experienced players a place to compete against people of a more similar level. info@underdogportland.com  

Portland Volleyball Association - The Portland Volleyball Association (PVA)  works hand in hand with the Portland Parks and Recreation district to bring competitive volleyball to the Portland area.  The PVA also schedules tournaments and workshops.  League play is all year.  There are four seasons of play throughout the year.   The summer league offers outdoor sand and grass leagues. Throughout the rest of the year, play is held indoors at school gyms and community centers all over Portland.  All skill levels can play in the Portland City League.  They have skill levels: Coed A-G, Mens A and B, and Womens A and B. Summer leagues are: Coed Grass 4s Reverse, Coed Grass Doubles Reverse, Grass Coed 6s, Grass Womens 4s, Sand 4s, and Sand 6s.  Contact PVA at info@portlandvolleyball.org if you're interested in playing.
